Renovations are important working together to reduce global CO2 emissions and energy consumption in buildings, a sector that accounts for around 40% of total energy use. After a one-year long renovation project of the IIIEE building, we are proud to say that we accomplished to both preserve its character while reducing its impact.

The IIIEE building building was renovated 2023-2024. The renovation project aimed to transform the early-1900s building in the centre of Lund into a more energy-efficient, sustainable workplace while at the same time also preserving its historical character. According to the IIIEE Director, "We want to walk the talk, and this project shows our commitment to sustainability."

Learn more about our beautiful building in a new blog post, read more about its history and the renovation journey and see how historical preservation and sustainability can go hand-in-hand.
