As a collaboration between University of Virginia and the IIIEE undertake a short course in Lund focusing on organisations, businesses and sustainability strategies.

Since 2014, the IIIEE is hosting students from the University of Virginia in the USA to allow for a short course as part of the Study Abroad program. The course lasts three weeks and the students are working as consultants to support businesses and organisations on their sustainability journey. As part of the short course they work directly with real-life clients, which this year are Roots of Malmö, Malmö FF, EFFEKT Architecture, and Snittblomsodlare i Sverige.

The students coming for the course are system engineers and undergraduates and utilize the chance to dive into Scandinavian expertise and practices to bring useful experiences back home and for their future studies. More information on the Study Abroad program at University of Virginia here.

The IIIEE welcomes our visiting students from University of Virginia and wish them a great learning experience.
